Doria Cai

Hi, I’m Doria — a Game Design student at Columbia University (graduating May 2026), and an AI Builder, Researcher, and Creative Technologist based in New York.

My work sits at the intersection of Generative AI, HCI, and Spatial Computing, with a focus on how to increase human creativity and agency in AI systems — across screen, immersive, and interactive environments.

In industry, I’ve worked as a Product Manager and AIGC Designer at ByteDance, Meitu, and Kaze AI, shipping generative AI products that reached billions of users.

In research, I design and prototype systems that explore how people create with AI — spanning AI-assisted tools, VR/AR experiences, interactive media, and immersive environments.

I’m also an AI creator myself, experimenting with generative tools across film, image, and interactive media. Most recently, my AI short film was selected as a finalist and Autodesk Award nominee at the MIT AI Film Festival.
